Alphose Mucha is one of my favorite Czechoslovakian llustrator and graphic designer.
Mucha is widely known for his Art Nouneau Posters in the 1980s and 1900s.
He achieved fame as he produces “Gismonda” in 1894 which he illustrated Sarah Bernhardt (who was the most famous actress in Paris at that time).
Major clients also included Job cigarette papers (1898) and the champagne house of Moët & Chandon (1899).
Mucha also worked in illustration, packaging, postage stamp design, jewellery and textile design.
